TEN POUNDS REWARD. RUN away from the subscriber about the beginning of January, 1775, a NEGRO MAN by name Jacob, though often called by the name of Little-Carpenter, a remarkable short fellow, about four feet six or eight inches high, and about thirty years of age, rather big-bellied and has a large navel; had on when he went away, a pair of blue cloth breeches and a white woollen jacket, but carried with him several other cloaths: he has some relations or acquaintances in Charlestown, and is supposed to be harboured by them. Whoever will deliver him to the Warden of the Work house or to me on Edisto-Island, shall receive a reward of Ten Pounds for discovering his being harboured, to be paid on conviction of the offender.
