RUN AWAY between three and four mouths ago, a negro fellow named JACK , alias YANKE, speaks preety good English, and is very talkative; he is about five feet high, has a large scar of a wound on his stomach, near one of his sides, has lost some of his fore-teeth, which affects his speech, appears to be about thirty years of age, he to very black, and had on when he went army, a blue negro cloth jacket and breeches; He formerly belonged to Samuel Levington, Esq; deceased, and a well known about Ashepoo and Chehaw, where he formerly lived in his late master's life-time; he is also well known in Charles-Town, having been formerly hired to Mr. Daniel Cannon, and worked for a considerable time as a labourer under William Roger; Bricklayer. Whoever will deliver him to Dr. Archibald M'neillin Dorchester, or to the warden of the work-house in Charles-Town, shall receive FIVE POUND; reward, and all reasonable charges, by applying to either of the subscribers. Any person giving information of his being harboured by a white person, shall receive TWENTY POUNDS, reward, on conviction of the offender, or if harboured by a negro TEN POUNDS reward will be given to the informer, on conviction.
