A Negro Fellow, calls himself JACK, says he was born in Providence, and his Master's Name Scubbin, a Carpenter by Trade, lives on the said Island, but tells different Stories; he is 5 Feet 3 Inches high, of a yellow Complexion, red Eyes, Temple Wiskers, small Beard, a small Mark on the Middle of his Forehead, resembles TH, which he says was done by Cupping; has on a white Negro Cloth Rapper, Robbin, and Trowsers. Also, a stout Negro Fellow, called SAM, belonging to Daniel Blake, Esq; had on a blue Negro Cloth Coatte and Trowsers; broke out of the WorkHouse the First of April, between One and Two o'Clock in the Morning. Whoever delivers the said two Negroes to the Warden, shall have FIVE POUNDS Currency Reward for each, and all reasonable Charges. JOHN BROWN
