RUN away from the subscriber the 6th of August, 1776, a likely young negro man named TONEY; he is about 5 feet 9 inches high, this country born, and very sensible; he formerly belonged to Thomas Lynch, Esq; and was his waiting man ; he has a sister at one of Mr. Lynch's plan-tations, by whom, it is said, he is harboured; also a young negro man named PORTSMOUTH, a taylor by trade; he went away the 6th of June last; he is about 5 feet 6 inches high, has a remarkable high breast, large lips, and walks very upright; he is supposed to be harboured either in Charlestown or at Goosecreek, where he is very well known, A reward of Thirty Dollars for Toney, and Twenty Pounds for Portsmouth, will be paid to any person that will deliver them to the Warden of the Work-house: A further reward of One Hundred Pounds if harboured by a white person; if by a negro Twenty Pounds will be paid, upon conviction of either of them being harboured by applying in Charlestown to Charles Wareham, jun. or the subscriber on Santee, near Lanneau's Ferry.
