Transcription
A Free Negro Fellow, named Johny Holmes, bred a Wheelwright and Carpenter, well known at Goose Creek, Wassamssaw and Charlestown, being lately an indentured Servant with Nicholas Trott Esq; is now run away, and the said Nicholas Trott Esq; having sold the said Negro’s Service to Kennedy O’Brien of Savannah Town He hereby gives Notice that he will give 5 l reward to any one who shall bring the said Negro to him to Charlestown. Or in his absence to Capt. Edward Croft’s and all People are forewarned neither to entertain nor employ him, as being still an indentured Servant with the said O’Brien And where-as one Alexander Cromble a Scotch young Fellow who was lately Patroon of the said O’Brien’s Boat did steal and then run away with upwards of 400 l. worth of Goods belong-ing to the said O’Brien. He also gives notice to any that shall apprehend him so as he may be brought to Justice shall be reasonably satisfied by Kennedy O’brien
